Scientific Committee

Mandate:

The Scientific Committee determines the RQSPAL’s research priorities. More specifically, this committee is in charge of setting up the structuring initiatives, the monitoring of these initiatives and scientific evaluation. Moreover, it oversees knowledge transfer. The Scientific Committee’s role is that of a scientific watchdog.

Membership:

The Scientific Committee is comprised of the persons in charge of each of the three axes, the RQSPAL’s director (non-voting), the coordinator (non-voting), two regular members, one research professional, two partner patients/relatives and one member of the Student Committee. The members of the Scientific Committee are:

  • Marie-Pierre Gagnon, Nursing Science Faculty, Université Laval
  • Pierre Gagnon, RQSPAL’s director, Psychiatry and Neurosciences Department, Université Laval
  • Lynn Gauthier, co-responsible of axis 1, Medicine Faculty, Université Laval
  • Diane Guay, responsible of axis 3, Medicine and Health Sciences Faculty, Université de Sherbrooke
  • Melissa Henry, co-responsible of axis 1, Faculty of Medicine and of Psychology, McGill University
  • Joanie Le Moignan, research professional, CRCHU de Québec – Université Laval
  • Jérôme Leclerc-Loiselle, student committee representative
  • Marc-Antoine Marquis, co-responsible of axis 2, Pediatrics, CHU Sainte-Justine
  • Chantale Simard, Health Sciences Department, Université du Québec à Chicoutimi
  • François Tardif, RQSPAL’s coordinator
